R(A) H Quartet

This quartet features Ryan Anselmi on saxophone backed by some of NYC’s finest Jazz musicians. Together the R(A)H Quartet (piano, bass, drums, saxophone) perform everything from Ellington to Tom Waits. Our aim is to create an engaging and enjoyable musical experience for all!

Ryan Anselmi is a saxophonist, educator, and ARC Recording Artist known for his soulful improvisation and deep connection to jazz, blues, and American roots music. He moved to New York City in 2005 to attend The New School, where he developed his voice as a bandleader through residencies in Greenwich Village. Anselmi has performed across the U.S. and internationally in cities such as London, Paris, and Amsterdam.  In addition to performing, Anselmi is a dedicated educator based in the NJ/NYC area. He teaches privately and leads the Rising Star Music Workshop, a mentorship program helping young artists write and record original music.
